About

About Find Them DM

A community directory that keeps public missing-person information for Dominica easy to find, understand and share.

We are not the Police.

Find Them DM is not the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force and is not an official Government alert system. It is an independent, community-run service.

Why it exists

When someone goes missing, alerts spread fast on social media, radio and news sites, and then scroll out of view. Find Them DM gathers public alerts issued under Dominica's Missing Person Alert System (MPAS) into one searchable directory that works well on a phone and is easy to share.

It is meant to complement official police channels, never to replace them.

What we publish

  • Every case is entered by authorised staff and approved by a second person before it is published. The public cannot publish cases.
  • Every published case has at least one verified source, such as the official police announcement.
  • We do not publish medical diagnoses, private contact details or speculation about what happened.
  • There are no public comments. Information about a case belongs with the police.
  • When a person is located, the page is clearly marked so earlier alerts stop circulating.

Corrections and removal

Incorrect information about a real person can cause harm. Please let us know if something on this site is wrong or out of date, including if someone has been found. Family members can also ask for a record to be removed. Include the page link and, where possible, a source we can check. We review every request.

For media and partners

Newsrooms, radio stations and partner websites can follow new alerts automatically with these RSS feeds. Most newsroom tools, website plugins and automation services can read them.

When you publish an alert, please link to its case page, which always shows the current status. When someone is found, please update or remove your post so that old alerts stop circulating. Each case page also has a printable poster.
